I have a double swinging door with a built-in closer between my kitchen and dining room. I need to temporarily remove the door so that I can get a refrigerator into the kitchen. The pins do not appear to be spring loaded. I unscrewed a screw in the spine of the door that I thought probably held the lower pin in place, but the closer assembly buts up to the pin, and I am at a loss on how to remove the door. Is there a trick or am I overlooking something obvious?
