We're going to redo a dinning room in an old house. The room has vinyl wallpaper, which has an interesting texture like grass paper, but also has a dated sparkly sheen to it(but I don't think it's foil). Could we paint over it so to preserve the texture but change the color of the room? Would we need to seal it first, and if so, what would we use? Thanks so much.
