That's what I did. Just layed two differnt plastics, one for electrical and one for the other cable. You might check this site: http://www.smarthome.com/8682.html they have a combo cable with telephone/network, coax, and fiber optic all in one jacketed cable. Makes an easy pull and the price is cheap compared with what I've seen buying them seperate. Of course if you're not going far it may not be beneficial, but I was pulling 100'. You'll be set for multiple TV's and networked computers too, because you know if you want a TV in the garage now it won't be long before you'll want a computer! Good luck!
