I am putting down a wood floor in my basement; I have laid down 6 mm. plastic with 5/4" sleepers over it. As a choice of 3/4" plywood, I could use CDX or waferboard, the latter which is tongue-in-groove. With either I would paint them first with Zinnser VIM sealer/primer as a further moisture barrier. The wood floor will be attached to the plywood subfloor. Any preferences for plywood type?
