and don't know of any solution. The "rubber" backing on some throw rugs seems to react with the plastic coating on some inlaid products, and becomes permanent. The only thing I can think of is if you bought the rugs at a large store such as WalMart there might be a way to get the cost of new inlaid reimbursed. Good Luck! Dodgeman
