I would like to keep my gas clothes dryer next to the washing machine. The gas water heater is sitting right next to the dryer. The only problem is that they are on an inside wall of our garage with no easy venting acess to an outside wall. Is it OK to vent the dryer straight up through the roof? We have an asphalt shingle roof which is about 14 ft. from the floor at the location of the gas dryer. I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Robert Kohler
