Im finishing my basement and I am going to remove the bottom door that leads into it and turn that into one of the bedroom walls. The problem is Im going to cut the existing walls on the left and right to form a hallway.
The bottom plate of the existing 2 walls are 1/2 way embedead into the concrete of the basement floor. This is going to cause about a 3/4" lip on both side of the new doorways...Any ideas on how I can remove this lip? Thanks
