Yep, we had the same problem too, rust spots on our clothes (our washer was 20yrs old). I dumped a gallon of bleach in and ran it thru a wash cycle, what came out during the rinse cycle was incredible, black gunk tons of it. Then ran it thru several more cycles (no bleach) until the black gunk cleared up. That exercise bought us about 4 months of rust free clothes, but then the rust came back. You know what the cure was---Ceers delivered a new washer :)
