I am living in a house I bought nine years ago. All the outside was painted with Oxford Blue paint. Some of it is on formerly white vinyl siding. And it has held up very good. The one side is to the south where it swelters at 110 degrees in the summer and often get below zero in the winter. Although I have replaced much of the siding, I would not hesitate touching up with matching paint.
