Try steel wool. It won't scratch it unless you mix it with sand. I use to do commercial stained glass and this is how we use to do our final cleaning...on very expensive glass. Unfourtunately the acid probably has etched the glass and the only solution outside of replacing it would be to polish the area with a buffer polishing compound.
