Dear Jason, Thank you for the info...here's more on my problem. The contractor that we hired messed up numerous things, including putting nails through the basement floor...is there any way around this without having to take the wall down? Even if this room cannot be used for a bedroom, I'd like to make it a family room. Also, it's been 3 years, is there any action I can take against the contractor? Thanks again.
