I would not do this because the cement patio was not designed to support the weight of the roof.
You will probably need a building permit for this work because the roof is a structure and in most places, a permit is required. Your local Building Official can help you.
If you install this roof useing this method, when and if the patio fails, the roof will drop or settle and where it is attached to the house, well...
