I am remodeling my basement bathroom. Doing this I am going to add a floor 7" off the floor. There is currently a toilet in there. I am wondering what I can use to raise the toilet. I am unable to cut off the old flange and put new pipe on it, someone mentioned a Flange Extension. Does anyone know anything about these, and where I might be able to get one. I have a 3" pipe going down.
The next question is with this subfloor I was going to put 3/4" Underlayment on 2X6 12" on center floor. On top of this can I put Tiles?
Thanks for the help, I got all the stuff for the floor and now I am not sure if I can put the raised floor in.
