Delta makes a good saw but the thing I never liked about them is they are too heavy when you have to move them frequently. I have been using a 12” DeWalt for 10 years now and have not found any I like better. The guard is slotted so you can see the blade across the stock you are cutting to line it up with precision. This avoids the problem of a scuffed up guard you can’t see through. It is a good quality saw without the extra weight.
