I have to go with Rob on this point / couterpoint so far. It so happens that my property, including the drive is only slightly inclined and slope of the driveway is minimal (<1/4" - 12").
I am told by some that the oil in asphalt is tracked into the house on the bottoms of our shoes and little by little starts to ruin floors and carpets. I have heard of totally ruined linoleum for instance. Is this true? Is it worse when the asphalt is new or newly resurfaced? Is there anything that can be done to avoid or prevent it (aside from concrete or never wearing shoes indoors?)
