We are building a new house. I would like to reclaim some hardwood flooring from our old house that is slated for demolition. Is this a project that two fairly handy people could tackle? Are there any special considerations? Having installed hardwood flooring ourselves, we thought we should start on the "groove" side of the room. The flooring is over 50 years old; does age have any impact on removal techniques?
