I'm looking to lay some burber in our basement and have noticed once that on a very heavy rain that the rain leaks in slightly. Currently there is a thin, I believe laminant tile laid as flooring. Some of those have started to come loose a bit. Should I lay the carpet on top of the tile? Will the fact that it has leaked cause any problems?
