I used AJAX cleaner with just enough water to keep it wet and you have to let it sit to let the AJAX do most of the work, scrubbing lightly with a scrub brush about every 20 minutes. I did small sections at a time like 10-15 square feet. You can speed it up by scrubbing with a scrub brush. If you are scrubbing hard and the glue is not yet releasing apply a little more water and wait! Patience is the key. Have something to read while you are waiting! Of course this is all based upon the glue I encountered!
