can someone give be the method for painting over very dark wall paneling. I belive it was stained at the factory and has years of smoke build up i would guess. i want to go with a very light color to get rid of the dungon feeling it gives my basement. I want the simplest, most economical way but the best results possible. I sell my homes after just a few years so this will be the paint job that will be on when i sell so it must look professional.
