Replace old windows and install new vinyl windows

Hi BOB,
My house has old aluminium windows and I want to replace
them with vinyl ones because of age, look and insulation.
But I don't want to replace whole alum. frame so I removed one window and kept
the frame that made window opening flat and square so I just pop window in
screwed it in the wall. Now I want to make somethig from outside that gives support
to window , What do you suggest ?
