Our finished basement has plywood walls in the main room (this was done by previous owners) and the paint has started to crack around the seams as the seams were never finished. I really don't want to tear it all down which is why I am here. Can I use mud on playwood? Would I be better off getting paintable paneling to put up? This one wall really needs help. Any suggestions?
