you need to make sure you have a ditch on the sides of your drive to carry the water to the road. The drive should have a crown "center slightly higher than sides" to shed water to the sides. A 1 to 2 inch crusher run stone would help. clean stone is not the way to go it moves around on a hill where as a crusher run stone consist of stone and rock dust which helps hold the stone together. you can go to my web page to get my price list of these materials.
