Backyard Propane firepit

I just installed a firepit in my backyard. I used a fire ring and ran the piping under the concrete to a 20lb propane tank. The problem is everytime I start it up the regulator makes this loud humming noise. I changed tanks and regulator without change. Any Ideas?
