Last year my thermostat quite literally blew up in my face. The murcury tube that controls the heat shattered. I let it go for as long as possible (w/ the power off of course) It's now summer and getting VERY hot in the house. I bought a new Hunter thermostat model number 40035. Here's my problem, I have 10 wires coming out of my wall. Only 7 were hooked up to the old thermostat, which I marked all of them as I took them off. My new thermostat is designed for 4- 5 wire hook- up. I've tried to follow the instructions that came w/ the new one and I'm now lost. Any suggestions???
