builders can adjust to this and that, BUT, this might be a question for Jason, but I would think that new plans would have to be made up with the fireplace removed. This could develope into a legal quagmire if a fireplace is in the plans but not physically within the built house. I would think that everyone would want to CYA (cover your A$$).
