unfortunately on the area's in question there is no salvage, unless you can make soffit's/facia grow. thats one reason i think the contractor is giving such a problem it represents a total loss. My expectations of a new contractor would be to just start over in those area's. it will cost what it will cost and will be additional work due to removal of bad work. Like I said, at this point there enough completed in a acceptable manner that i don't feel, in all fairness that I am entitled to money back. unless we factor the stress and aggravation. but i'd just as soon call it a learning experience, and will know better how to prevent this happening ever again.
