Hi! I am planning on texturing my kitchen walls with joint compound, what is your take on removing the wallpaper? I recently moved and had done this in my last house. I did remove all the wallpaper-BIG PAIN IN THE NECK. The guy at Home Depot said I don't have to remove the paper bc the joint compound is so thick. The wallpaper is in good condition(no pealing) it seems. Do you think it is ok to texture without removing the paper?
