My living room ceiling recently had received a water stain from a leak upstairs. The leak has been repaired but has left a stain in the popcorn ceiling. How can I repair this? Do I need to scrape off all of the popcorn and re-apply it or can it the stained popcorn be painted to match the surrounding area.
