How does this site work? I see two 4-year-old questions about stripping stain from wood, but I see no answers. I am trying to lighten my kitchen and the cupboards are the last step in this project. They are old handmade oak cabinets stained dark. I'd rather keep them than replace them, but they really are too dark. I've tried scrubbing, sanding, and a citrus based stripper, with no lightening at all. Help?
