Bob, I had the electric sump pump replaced in May it was 11 yrs old. I also have a 7+ yr old battery backup sump pump. I am not confident that the battery backup is one to hang your hat on in the event the electricity goes out. What would you recommend as a fall-back in the event the new electric pump would not come on?
