At work, I cleaned one of the executive bathrooms that has granite walls and floor. Hard water stains were running down from the back of the sink. I couldn't get the stain off with a granite cleaner/polish. I had the idea to use alcohol and about 98% of the hard water stain came off. My question is...Will alcohol hurt granite? Is it alkaline or acidic? Do you have any other suggestions?
