small area above kicthen sink between window and back splash?

I have an area of 3/4 inch wide and 60 inchs long that is between my window and backslash.

My kitchen sink is right in front of it looking for ideas of what I can put in this area to stop water getting in it and so it doesn't ruin the drywall.
