Our home has a flat roof, so there are 2 rooms where the ceilings have no existing electrical supply. We would like to install ceiling fans with lights but the ceiling fans on the market don't seem to be set up for this type of installation. There are existing hooks in the rooms for ceiling mount via a swag, but the hook hangs down about 2.5" and is larger than the typical plant ceiling hook. Is a swag kit our only solution and if so, what type of fan/light should we look for?
