Want to replace existing old basement windows with glass block. Found they sell them made-up to fit in various roughopenings. Blocks banded and mortared together, with and w/o vents. Nice, question is this is an older frame home. Neighbor's house is brick. Took out old wood frame and set blocks right in brick r/o; do I leave the frame in? Worry if I remove the frame, it's part of the structure? Any ideas or suggestions.?? Thanks!
