Greetings Christopher,

I am looking at one of the order blanks from American Craftsman.

It States the "Constant force balance system for smoother, easier operation, Never needs adjusting."

The sashes should stay where you put them!

Call Home Depot and have them correct the problem.

It probably has the wrong size balance on the top sashes. (does the bottom sashes stay where you put them?)

They might be able to adjust them, (key word "THEY").

The bottom line is if you bought the 8500 Premium Series, they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY, use it!

Note* I do not use this window.
