Melinda, your questions are the same ones that I have and why I think it's wrong to do this. By taking the easy way now, I think that you set yourself up for a lot of problems for you or someone else in the future. It is not that hard to take down paper. Any 3 year old can, and many have, if you leave a little open seam down low enough to reach. It is bad enough if it is just paper, but what do you do if it has paint over it also. Then you have a big job of removing the painted paper and then repainting the whole room. Personally, I am too lazy to set myself up for a major job when I can do the minor job of taking the paper off before painting. Henry
