With a little help from a landscaper you could come up with a very unique outdoor area that is both enjoyable to be in but also very low maintenance. The cost may be a little higher depending on how much work you do youreself but in the long run it should be cheeper. Plus it is guarenteed not to look like the neighbors deck.
