I have the 4000 series windows. The instruction manual that came with it does not explain how to adjust the spring tensioner. But the catalog of all the windows states that they are easily adjustable. Anyway, I pulled the tensioner from the bottom and twisted it with a pair of pliers. This worked fine. Good to Go.
