I used the product on some adirondack chairs that I purchased a year ago. The wood was dry, so I used 3 coats of the product, and it did seem to soak right in. The chairs were covered in the winter with a tarp so moisture was minimal during that time. It's a year later, and the wood is splitting and has turned a dark grey in the exposed areas. I would have had a similar result had I used no sealant at all. I'm in the process of sanding, staining, and sealing the wood with Thompson's. Has anybody else had this problem?
