Try more stripping and scraping first

Hi Kelly,

You may have to sand it as Steve suggests, but I would try more stripping and scraping first. When you sand the wood you will lose the nice color that has built up over the years, but if you have tried everything else, that is the way to go. I would not use a belt sander on furniture, as it is too easy to damage the wood.
