I read somewhere that some successfully deter mice by putting up sheets of fabric conditioner to block their entrance. To save costs, I put fabric conditioner on kitchen paper/towel to block their exit and where they are likely to hide. Still there's a big gap into the cupboard where mice are still able to jump in and I'll ask my landlord to do sth about that. Hope you get rid of them soon.
