I am planning to change my patio to a porch. The current slab is concrete with a lot of sharp rocks sticking up. I want to place a slab on top of the current slab so that I want have to deal with the sharp rocks. What problems might I encounter from doing this. The new slab can be no more than one and a half inch thick. Should I use cement with and adhesive bond?
