I am having an old deck replaced (house and deck are 30 years old) Does anyone know much about the manufactured decking material (like Trex etc.) Do you have any preferences? Trex is twice the price of redwood, but without the upkeep. What about the long term wear and looks. Has anyone used it for large areas, or for any length of time? Please help! Need to order wood or Trex soon.... Contractor is waiting for me to make up my mind.
