I have very dark mahogney 30 year old cabinets that I would like to try and paint. I do not want to have to remove the hindges for they seem quite brittle and I don't want to have to try and replace them all.
I want to end up with a off while grain effect color.
do you have any suggestions as to where I would begin to do this?
I also have gas pilots in the house but not in the kitchen will I have to turn them off while I paint the cabinets?
