Dear Bob:
My husband and I loved your show and have learned from you (This Old House with Norm Abrams etc. and books) our entire married life coming up on 25 years.
My dillema I was given a large area rug 11x12 my and it had been stored in a basement.
I have cleaned it with my rug cleaner (Oreck), sprayed it with Lysol and Febreeze and put the fan and A/C on in the room and now it's in the sun on our deck. The rug still it smells like mildew and we think I'll have to throw it out.
My husband and I want to redo our sons bedroom now that he's at college.
HELP I really like the rug.
