With this much brick to paint, you really do need to use a sprayer. If your sprayer will not shoot primer, then you need to rent one that will. All spray rigs except wagner will spray primer IF there is NOT any filler in the primer. Do not dilute primer down as it will lose its properties.

You need to spray on two to three coats of primer, then two coats of finish coat. Its imperative to let each coat dry before the next. I use a good quality latex for both and you can repaint in one hour.

You need to rent a good spray rig.
