Get a nice metal skinned door with insulation in the middle, comes in wood grained and panel door. Comes drilled with two holes, one for handle one for deadbolt. Primed ready to go, can stain and look like real wood, even come factory stained.
Once the laminates peel and even after tacking and glueing down and even after covering the area with a kick plate, it is eventually time for this to be replaced. Try to stop the bounce up or bounce back of rain that is hitting the door.
