Thanks for your quick reply. I live in a townhome. Although the association will pay to have my door replaced, they expect it to be at a reasonable price. Would a place like Home Depot be the best place to look for the type of door you describe?
My understanding is that doors don't come with pre-cut holes for handle and deadbolt and that installation usually costs more than the door because it needs to be customized to fit.
I live in West Los Angeles. Are there door gurus you know of here?
I am of the female gender so find all of this very confusing.
