I am the proud owner o a 17 year old single story, small 4 bed room house. It is our retirement home in Northwest Arizona's Ponderosa Pine country. Both the wife & I are on social security and cannot afford expensive repairs. I am 63 and am still "strong but slow"!
The house has developed cracks (1/2 " wide) in the top row of a four block high cinder block area. It shows evidence of sagging on 3 corners. The living room's East wall has developed cracking in the dry wall, radiating out (up & down at 45% angels) from the picture window and the door is bindlng.
Can you perhaps let me know what tools (jacks etc.) I may need and lead me thru the step by step repair methood you would suggest? The home has ample crawl space ( 3 to 4 feet ) in the areas affected.
