I have a nice hampton bay fan w/o light. It does have a remote speed and direction control. The remote no longer works despite new batteries. I think the problem is really the reciever unit in the fan nose cone. I can not find info about this or where the manufacturer is. HD seems to be of no help. They only stock a one size fits all, on way remote/reciever replacement. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
